WAYNETOWN -- Harry C. Henderson, 87, a native of Montgomery County, died at 3 p.m. Wednesday at his home in Mulberry. He had been ill since Sept. 22. He was born to Milton and Sarah Henderson. He was married to Lula Petro. They celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary Nov. 17 of this year. Mr. Henderson once lived in Waynetown where he operated a dray line. He lived in Lafayette before moving to Mulberry. He is survived by his wife; one son, Olin Henderson of Ben Davis; one brother, Floyd Henderson of Lisbon, N.D.; two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Utterback of Memphis, Tenn., and Mrs. Louella Gates of Edmore, Mich., and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, George, and an infant son; one brother, Art Henderson; two sisters, Mrs. Iva Long and Mrs. Edith Whitaker. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Mulberry Funeral Home.
